At our school we aim to develop independent learners who are well equipped for their future. Computing skills are an integral part of teaching and learning for all pupils and staff.
In order to ensure that breadth of knowledge is covered and well sequenced, and that the children have the opportunity to learn, apply and embed computing skills, we have decided to use the ‘Teach Computing’ scheme of work as recommended by the DfE. Created by experts, this scheme is built around an innovative progression framework which prepares or pupils by developing their understanding of computing systems and networks, media creation, data and information and programming.

Technology is used in school on a daily basis, and staff are kept u to date with the latest technological advances by the Computing leader and through colleagues within our trust.
